Back glass fails differently from a door window, and the difference is mostly about where the pieces go. It is a large tempered pane set at a shallow angle above the trunk or the load area, so when it lets go a good share of the cubes drops straight down behind the rear seat, onto the parcel shelf, into the trunk well and into the spare-wheel recess. The rest ends up in the rear footwells and in the seat-belt reels. Clearing that out properly takes longer than fitting the new pane, and skipping it is why some cars rattle from the back for years afterwards.
The other thing that makes back glass its own job is what is printed on it. Most rear panes carry a defroster grid, and on a lot of cars the radio antenna is printed into the same pane, so the correct part is not the one that looks right, it is the one with the right terminals in the right places. Both connections get reconnected and tested before the job is called finished. The pane itself is either bonded in with urethane, which brings a cure time with it, or held in a rubber surround, which does not, and you will be told which of the two your car is when you book rather than at the counter.
